Dr Noemi Di Marzo graduated in Medical Biotechnologies in 2018 at the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy). During her academic career she moved to Poland (Gdansk) where she was involved in the characterization of new transgenic mouse models produced via multicistronic approach. In the following years her research activity focused on the study of the interaction between leukemic blast and mesenchymal cells in the medullary niche of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. During her PhD (DIMET-Translational and Molecular Medicine) Noemi developed and characterized a new ex vivo model to study the modifications of the cerebral microenvironment induced by leukemia cells. In February 2023 she joined Checkmab team as a molecular and cellular biologist to support the identification of new therapeutic antibodies for immuno-oncology.
